Our Mission
Tucson Young Artists Orchestra trains young, talented string players to be confident and compassionate young artists. Immersed in inclusive and intense rehearsals that lead to powerful performances, our students learn engagement and teamwork through effective communication, adaptive thinking, and efficient time management. Whether they pursue music professionally or choose a different path, the skills our young people learn are essential to building successful careers and becoming exemplary members of the communities in which they live.

TYAO fully supports public school programs. All prospective TYAO students are expected to participate in their school orchestras.
